Much appreciated the opportunity Mike Laflin to contribute to this important Global Sustainable Sport piece on the rising Green Swan flapping its wings in sport through climate change. This is having increasing impact both for major sports brands such as the IOC and FIFA as well as their commercial partners and sport economy. I am also seeing this follow through in the brand management work I am involved with at Stobbs alongside my links to disputes work with JAMS and Court of Arbitration for Sport. Fans, participants, and consumers are increasingly interested in the power of sport to change behaviour because of the real impact sport is experiencing everyday through climate change.
